INTO FARMING PROBLEMS. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The urgent need for research into farming problems, and particularly into diseases of stock, was affirmed to-day by a conference between representatives of the North Canterbury branch of the Farmers’ Union, the Canterbury Sheepowncrs ’ Union, and the Canterbury A. and P. Association. The conference decided that an effort to raise funds should be Dominion-wide, ancl that the Farmers’ Union be asked to call a meeting of representatives of the* branches of primary production, at Wellington, when the Meat Producers’ Board holds its annual meeting.— (P.A.)
