MISSING MAN

THE ORR INCIDENT. SYDNEY, Thursday. William Orr called in on the Union Company this morning and said he wits lonely aboard.the ship and wanted to have a look round Sydney. He was taken aboard the Aorangi and locked up. The Aorangi sailed for New Zealand this afternoon, the. difficulty regarding the crew having been overcome. ' (A cablegram received from Sydney on Tuesday stated that William Orr, aged 19, formerly a member of the Byrd Expedition, was missing from the Aorangi, where he had .been detained as a prohibited immigrant. He escaped through a porthole. Orr was not allowed to land in Sydney because his passport had not been vised, and he did not have sufficient money to be classed as a tourist).
