OBITUARY
MRS C. T. WELCH. The many friends of Mrs Clarissa T. Welch, widow of the late Mr W. W. Welch, will regret to learn of her death, which occurred at “Glenwood” priA'ate hospital this morning, after a long illness. The late Mrs Welch Avas a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs William Day, and Avas born at Upper Plain, Masterton, 65 years ago.. Deceased had resided in the Masterton district all her life, and had made manv friends by her bright and kindlv disposition. She is survived by tAvo sons (Messrs F. T. W. Welch, Hokianga, North Auckland, and W. R. Welch, Masterton), and five daughters (Mesdames J. 11. MacDonald and Allan MmcDonald, Ihuraua, Mrs S. Burridge, Masterton, and Misses A. M. and M. Welch, Masterton), AA’ho Avill have the. sympathy of a Avide circle of friends in their sad bereavement. The funeral will take place to-mor-1-oav (Saturday), and Avill leave the residence, High Street, at 2.30 p.m. for the Masterton cemetery.
