JOHNSONVILLE SALE. Prices at the Johnsonvillc sale yesterday were generally firm. Wright, Stephenson and Company, Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., offered an average yarding of cattle, and a smaller yarding than usual ot sheep. Prices for bullocks were on a par with last week’s rates, while cows and heifers were firmer. Wethers met a good demand at late rates, while ewes were keenly sought after at prices showing a slight advance on last week’s sale. Lambs met a ready sale, showing no alteration on last week’s prices:— Cattle: Prime heavy bullocks, £8 Bs, £8 ss, £8 2s, £B, £7 15s, £7 12s; heavy bullocks, £7 ss, £7 3s, £7, £6 17s, £> p’s - prime heavy cows and heifers, £t> 3s, £ls, £5 18s, £5 16s, £5 12s; runners, •c'2 9s £2 7s, £2 Is. £2; vealers, £1 18s fid, £1 17s, £1 15s, £1 13s, £1 12s, £1 10s 6d, £1 8s 6d. Sheep: Prime extra heavy wethers, 26s 3d, 25s 7d, 255; prime heavy wethers, 24s 9d, 24s fid, 245, 23s 4d; prime extra heavy ewes, 20s, 19s sd, l_9s; prime heavy ewes. 18s Sd; heavy spring lambs, 22s ‘fid, 22s 2d, 21s fid, 21s 3d, 21s, 20s 7d, 20s 3d, 20s; medium spring lambs, 19s, 18s 9d, ISs 4d.
