MAROONED FISHERMEN
ON ICE FIELDS. RESCUED BY STEAMERS. (Received Thursday, 8.50 a.m.) RIGA, Wednesday. Reports state that SoA'iot steamers have rescued 150 fishermen marooned on the ice fields in the Caspian Sea. Another party is still drifting. The rescue of Cheliuskin castaways is proving more difficult than A\'as anticipated. Aeroplanes have not succeeded even in sighting them. Some machines Avere damage in the bad Aveather. Dog teams Avere unable to negotiate the rough ice separating the eastaAvays encampment from the mainland. Further aeroplanes are being despatched from Vladrvostock.
