GOVERNMENT BY COMMISSION. ST. JOHN’S, Thursday. The Legislative Council unanimously passed a resolution from the Lower Chamber approving of the Royal Commission’s recommendatioli for . relinquishing the rights of a Dominion and submitting to Government by Commission until the island is again self-sup-porting. A message will be despatched to His Majesty, asking the Amulree Commission’s recommendations to bo implemented, and it is understood the United Kingdom Parliament will adjust the Island’s financial difficulties without delay.
