A BY-ELECTION. CONSERVATIVES RETAIN SEAT. RUGBY, Thursday. The result of the by-election for the Harborough Division of Leicestershire is as follows: — Ronald Tree (Conservative) 19,320 W. Bennett (Labour) 12,460 W. Wilson (Liberal) 6,144 At the last election the Conservative majority in a straight fight with Labour was 19,578. The election was necessitated by the resignation of Lord Castlestewart. — Official Wireless.
