FANCY DRESS DANCE

IN ST. PATRICK’S HALL. A very successful plain and fancy dress children’s ball was held in St. Patrick’s Assembly Hall last evening. Some artistic and most original costumes were worn and these gave the judges a very difficult task. The judges were Mesdames Minett, Kerslake, Gaynor and Miss O’Riley. The following were awarded prizes:— 12-14 years: Greenlees, “Lavender,” 1; M. Gaynor, “Candlestick,” 2. Boys: T. Mannell, “Everest,” 1; P. Beals, “Old Lady,” 2. 10-11 years: Girls.—P. Davey, “Gipsy,” 1; Ola Curry, “Sweet-Pea,” 2. Boys: D. Kearns, “Haystack,” 1; Joe Williams, “Topsy,” 2. 8-9 years: Boys.—Billy Greenlees, “Father Christmas,” 1; J. Ilourigan, “Bags,” 2. Girls: E. MeArlcy, “Pierrette,” 1; C. Talbot, “Shepherdess,” 2. 6-7 years: Boys.—J. Kerslake, “Dick Whittington,” 1; H. Keisenberg, “Indian,” 2. Girls: Betty Syron, “Little Miss Muffett,” 1; T.
