OUTBREAK OF TYPHOID
AMONG NELSON MAORIS. NELSON, This Day. There are twenty cases of typhoid among Maoris at Puramahoi, Taltaka district. It is understood that infection arose from a tangi held a month ago. Maoris were present from all parts of New Zealand. Every effort is being made to trace contacts. Only one European is affected. —(P.A.)
