VILLAGE SETTLEMENT
NAPIER SCHEME. NAPIER, This Day. Contracts have now been let for the erection of thirty-eight residences on an area of 250 acres of the Harbour Board endowment land for the Napier village settlement promoted by the Government under the Small Farms Scheme. Sections on which the. homes arc to be erected are approximately five acres each. >. . The settlers will be chosen from the ranks of married unemployed.
