JAPANESE ULTIMATUM. LONDON, Sunday. The Peking correspondent of “The Times” says that for the first time since the truce a Japanese aeroplane circled over Peking to-day, dropping showers of leaflets containing an ultimatum to General Fang Chen Wu to leave 1 ' the demilitarised zone before 26th September, otherwise the. Japanese army would launch a punitive expedition without further warning.
