PIGEON RACING
MASTERTON JTJNIOE CLUB. The Masterton Junior Homing Pigeon Club competed in its first race of th 6 season from Woodvillo on Saturday. The results were as follow: —J. Pointon ’s ( ‘ Hairy Pete, ” “ White Feather ’ 1 and Phar Lap,” Ist, 2nd and 3rd; A. Hirst’s “Silver Scorn” and W. H. John’s “Nelson Boy,” 4th; W. Johns’ “Wildfire,” 6th; G. Chapman’s “Oliver Twist,” 7th; T. and J. Taylor’s “White Socks,” Bth; W. Orsborn’s “Ginger,” 9th; ]ft. Smith’s “Thundercloud” and “Lady Limerick,” 10th and 11th; C. Adams’ “Missing Link” and “White Flash,” 12th and 13th; R. Steer’s “Desert Gold,” 14th; J. Logan ’s ‘ ‘ Zig-Zag, ’ ’ loth. The next race will be flown from Feilding on 2nd September.
