EKETAHUNA SALE. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., report on their sale as follows: —A medium entry of dairy cattle and a couple of pens of ewes were submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition for ewes was very keen but the demand for dairy cows and heifers was very slack. The following is the range of prices:—Ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 12/6 to 21/6; spg. heifers, £3 to £4; empty 2-yr heifers, £2/6/-.
