Sir, —As an election is close at hand Ho fill a vacancy and to raise a loan for the Trust Lands Trust, could anyone inform me what circumstances one must tbe in in order to obtain an educational grant from them. —I am, etc., INTERESTED. Masterton, 17th August. <(The financial circumstances of parents are not taken into account , when applications for educational grants are being considered by the Trustees. Conditions entitling a pupil to apply for a grant are simple. Thev are:— <l> Residence of parents within the Small Farms Area; (2) that the applicant has passed the University Entrance examination, and is furthering his or her studies at a University. —Ed., W.D.T.)
