Addressing thousands of athletes at a Stuttgart festival, Herr Hitler lauded muscle before brain, and declared that intellectuals without physical strength and! courage were apt to become mere schoolmasters, threatening a nation with decay. The Reich was based on muscle. Strong men were Germany’s protectors, not philosophers. VIENNA, Monday/ Commenting on German aeroplanes repeatedly flying over Austria and dropping leaflets denouncing Dr. Dolfuss, despite official protests, the Government organ “R-eichpost” expresses the opinion that Germany was deliberately trying to force Austria to appeal to the League of Nations. Such action Germany would use as propaganda, denouncing Austria for appealing to an international body against a “German brother.” . . 1 j BLOW TO BRITISH TRADE. LONDON, Monday.
