PROGRAMME FOR AUGUST. RETURN' MAN AWARE FIXTURE,. A very full month’s Soccer football inrogramme was arranged at a meeting , 0 f the Management Committee of the fWaiara rap a Football Association, held ttast night. Mir R, J. Weir presided. The chief fixture this month is a return match with Manawatu at Palmer-. (3ton North on 2i6th August. The Stop-Out Club, Wellington, accepted an invitation to play at Masterton next Saturday, while another Wel-Jlin-gton Club, Diamond, advised that three teams, a senior, junior and boys, could travel to Masterton on 26th August. It was decided to play Masterton tagainst Stop-Out on Saturday next, and to invite the Diamond Club to send up two teams on the 26th, a second division team and a boys’ team. Arrangements are to be made to select a senior jB representative team to play Diaimonds, as the first Wairarapa eleven will be engaged at Palmerston North on the same day. It was decided to invite the coaches of the boys’ team to meet the committee with a view to selecting a boys’ representative team to play Diamonds, of Wellington. A letter of encouragement was re-ceiv-<gd from Mr J. M. James, a vice-presid-ent of the Association. The secretary’s reply, thanking Mr James for his letter and donation, was approved. The president, Mr J. Walker, has donated an excellent miniature cup to go to jthe winners of the boys’ championship. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. ' Senior.—United v.
