PANTOMIME AND REVUE
WILLIAMSON ATTRACTIONS. - Masterton theatre-goers are in luck in having an opportunity of seeing at the Regent Theatre on Monday next a company which has gained high popularity throughout New Zealand in the pantomime “Cinderella,” in the afternoon commencing at 3 o ’clock, and in the revue “The Laugh Parade” in the evening. The Frank Neil Revue Company, sponsored by Messrs J. O. Williamson, Ltd., is described as one of the best combinations that has ever toured the Dominion. In the cities it has been phenomenally successful, so much so that in all the season had to be extended. Of the “ Cinderella” pantomime, with its gorgeous scenes and dressing, pretty music, lively comedy and specialty features, all that need be said is that it will ;be presented as it was when the company last visited Masterton, with the exception that Mr George Wallace will be replaced as Buttons by Mr Billy Maloney. As to the rev,ue, the company is rich in comedy talent, in vocal ability and j in dancing skill. The ballet, specially trained by Mr Maurice Diamond, is one of the best ever seen on the New Zealand stage and there are other clever dancers in the company. It is said that the equal of Walton and Murray, the simultaneous dancers, has not been seen for many years. The Five Cleveres) sensational acrobats, and others make notable contributions to a performance remarkable for its brilliance and variety.
