MASS NAZI WEDDING. BERLIN, Thursday. A mass Nazi wedding has been arranged to take place at the Church of St. Lazarus, Berlin, on 2nd July. 'Fifty men, in full Storm Troops uni-, form, will be married to fifty women, who will wear brown blouses and skirts, to the accompaniment of Nazi brass bands and a parade of Storm Troops. President Hindeniburg has accepted Dr. Hugenberg’s resignation, and appointed Herr Kurt Schmidt Minister of Economics, and Herr Walter Darre, Minister for Food. The Centre section of the 'City Council has voluntarily dissolved and asked permission to join the Nazis. Similar action was taken at Cologne.
The Bavarian Government has confiscated the funds and property of Catholic organisations. The Prussian Government has suppressed the International Bible Research Society at Para. High Nazi officials have been arrested at Hitler’s orders and charged -with attempting to interfere with his economic decisions.
