ALLEGED THEFT
TAXI DRIVER REMANDED. WANGANUI, This Day. John Ralph Penny, aged 31, a taxi diriver -of Auckland, wns bef oriel, the S3l. Court this morning charged with the theft of £SI3 in silver on 4th June, the property of William Toomey, _ of Auckland. He was remanded for eight days.—(P.A.)
