NO LIFE ON MARS

WHAT CAMERA REVEALS. ABSENCE OP OXYGEN. VANCOUVER, Friday. Proof that there is insufficient oxygen in the bands around Mars to sustain life, such as we know it on earth, has been supplied through the medium of infra-red photography, so Dr. W. S. Adams, of the Wilson Observatory, Pasadena, California,, stated to the Science Congress. Dr. Adams added that recent developments of photography showed clearly that the oxygen content of the Mars bands was probably less than one-tenth of 1 per cent. Dr. J. S. Plaskert-, of Victoria, British Columbia, added that this had definitely set aside the idea of life on Mats as we know it on the earth.
