PAPER FOR NEW ZEALAND. BRITISH PROTEST. LONDON, Friday. A deputation of parchment paper manufacturers waited on Sir Thomas Wilford and complained that Germany was dumping its product in New Zealand at £4O a ton c.i.f., compared with £45 a ton for British, whereas Germany was selling the same paper internally at £SO a ton. The deputation mentioned Germany’s severe restriction on New Zealand butter.

The- High Commissioner promised to convey the representations to the New Zealand Government, and advised the deputation to see the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes and the Hon. R. Masters, delegates to tlie World Conference, on their arrival.
