DAVIS CUP. ENGLAND VERSUS ITALY. LONDON, Friday. In the quarter-final of the European zone of the Davis Cup, played at Eastbourne, F. J. Perry (England) defeated de Morpuvgo (Italy), 6/4, 7/5, 6/5; 11. W. Austin (England) defeated Stefani (Italy), 6/2, 7/5, 7/5. At Prague, also in the European quarter-final, Czechoslovakia eliminated Greece. ITALY ELIMINATED. (Received Saturday, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, Friday. In Davis Cup games, Perry and Hughes (Britain) defeated Radio and Carolli, 6/1, 6/4, 9/7. Italy has thus been eliminated from the competition.
