WAGE CUT
RESTORED BY COMPANY. LONDON, Thursday. Imperial Chemical Industries, Ltd., is restoring the 1931 wage cut to 25,000 employees, involving £IBO,OOO per annum. The chairman, Sir Harry AleGowan, states that though the w-orld situation is unsatisfactory tlrei company desires to recognise the workers’ helpful cooperation. The year’s profit was £6,415,000, compared with £4,658,000 in the previous year.
