OTTAWA, Thursday.

•Canada is seriously considering whether it would be wise to inflate her currency to the level of the pound sterling. Government departments are preparing data, and the advice of the foremost world financiers is being sought, not only in Government circles, but outside. A line is sharply drawn between those who favour inflation and those who do not. Accordingly, the action of New Zealand in further inflating her currency is very important news, and may figure largely in future discussions here.
