PONGAROA SALE. The Kew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on the I’ongaroa sale as follows:—A good yarding of sheep of all classes was submitted to a large attendance of buyers. Competition was keen throughout the sale, there being a particularly good demand for wethers, which realised top values. The following is the range of prices:—Account J. McKay: 208 4tooth ewes, 12/3; 132 ! 6-tooth ewes 9/10; 120' do., 8/S; 193 4-year do., 'B/10; 179 2-tooth do. 10/-; 143 2-tooth wethers 10/1; 18G ewe lambs, 8/6; 145 wether lambs, 7/2; 109 m.S'. eull lambs, 4/7. Account F. Wyeth: 98 2-tooth wethers, 9/10. Account H. Kavser, ISB m.a. ewes, 8/-; 70 2-tooth ewes, 10/4: 32 2-tooth wethers, 10/-; 72 ewe lambs, 8/-; SO wether lambs; 7/4. Cull lambs made from 2/6 to 5/3. A hack mare made £B/15/-.
