Entries for the 46th Annual Show and E.am Fair which close on 30th January are now coming to hand, breeders of stud stock recognising it is still very necessary to keep; up the quality of their studs, so as to be ready when things improve to meet the various markets, as production must be kept-s'up to the highest standard. Those with stud; sheep, cattle, horses and pigs will surely 'find classes that will interest them and should make their entries accordingly. In view of the times the prizes offered are very good and in addition there are cups valued at £6OO open for competition. There are also small cups for all champions. These are replacing the usual medals and it is thought the cups will be more appreciated than medals. (Cheap fares will be issued from any station to .Solway and 'Masterton. There will be plenty of sleeping accommodation available for men in charge of stock, also green feed and straw. All meals may also be obtained on the grounds. The Association assists men with the loading and unloading of their stock and owners can rest assured that their men and animals will be well cared for.
