The “Times” Riga correspondent says Soviet newspapers, in commenting upon the restoration of Soviet-Chinese diplomatic relations, emphasise the importance of Chinese co-operation. with the Soviet in the Far East but the “Pravda” also uses the occasion to review Communist activity in China, declaring that “Red” detachments are progressing greatly in various parts and that the Chinese Communist party is mobilising the masses and rallying the whole of China for the overthrow of the Kuo Alin Tang and establishment of a Soviet Government in China.
