A Wyndhaan message states tliat the aeroplane “Spirit of ■Fun/’ which is Hying round the world, aaid the crew of which consists of Messrs A. Loew and J. Eosthal, an American pilot, and Captain 1C Dickson, began it's (light to Bima at » 6.2 d a.m. to-day. It was expected to reach Sourabaya, a distance of 1100 miles, this evening. It is bound for England. NEW MAIL SERVICE. (Received Wednesday, 10. do a.m.) CALCUTTA, Tuesday. It is understood that negotiations are proceedings satisfactorily for the inauguration of a big new air mail seirvico which will extend the present England-India route to Singapore, via Calcutta, to link with the AustraliaSingapore service when the latter operates.
