RAILWAY DISASTER

TRIAL OF OFFICIALS. MOSCOW, Friday. Recalling a great Russian railway disaster in January last, the trial has begun at Petr-ovsk of sixteen officials involved in the hitherto undisclosed crash at Zelonaya on 15th May, Avlien passenger trains collided at a station, Avliich Avas converted into a shambles. It is stated that scores of passengers ■were mangled and many of the bodies were unidentifiable. It is alleged that some of the officials were drunk and mistook the signals.
