KNOX CHURCH

LADIES’ GUILD. At the monthly meeting of the'members of Knox Ladies’ Guild Miss Jessie McLaren presided. Mrs Sylvester sang delightfully, Miss Watson gave pianoforte solos, and the Misses Aicheson and Mackenzie recited. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Joseph and A. Thompson and the Misses Lyttlejohn and Janet McGregor. Mrs Welch and Miss G. Brown won the competitions. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the hostesses and the ladies who had contributed to the programme for the very happy hour spoilt by everyone present.
