Harry Clarence Berney, of Trcntham, Avas arrested by the LoAvcr Hntt police last evening and charged Avitli the theft of a gold brooch, a silver coin band, a silver Avristlet watch, a locket, and an ear-ring, A'alued at £5, the property of Walter Smart. He appeared at the Lower Hutt Court this morning, and AA’as remanded to Wellington.
