AUTHORISING LOAN OE £2OOO. \XTHEEEAS the sum of £2OOO by Debenture No. 1 issued secured by Debenture No. 1 issued by the Mastcrton Borough Council in respect of the loan of £2OOO known as "The Masterton Borough Council Gas Extension Loan of £27,000, 1920, Supplementary Loan of £2700, 1921, Renewal Loan of £2OOO, 1927, ” became due and payable on the 24tli day of March, 1932: NOW THEREFORE, THE MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that' behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers it thereunto enabling, HEREBY RESOLVES by way of SPECIAL ORDER as follows: 1. THAT the Council proceed to raise a loan of £2OOO (hereinafter referred to as "the Redemption Loan”) for the purpose of paying off the said sum of Two thousand pounds (£2000) so duo and payable. 2. THAT the redemption loan be called "The Masterton Borough Council Gasworks Extension Redemption Loan, 1932.” 3. THAT the Currency of the redemption loan bo for a. period of five (o) years, commencing on the 18th day of May, 1932, arid terminating, on the 18th day of May, 1937. 4. THAT the interest on the redemption loan bo at the rate of five and one-quarter per centum per annum, and be payable half-year-ly on the 18th day of November land the 18th day of May in every year. 5. THAT the form of security for the payment of the principal of and the interest on the redemption loan be one deebnturo of £2OOO, and relative coupons in the appropriate form prescribed by the Local Bodies’ Loans. Act, 1926. 6. THAT such principal and interest be payable at the office of the Masterton Borough Council, Chapel Street, Masterton. AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above Special Order will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Masterton Borough Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, Cliapel Street, Masterton, on TUESDAY, the 17th day of May, 1932, at 7.30 p.m. Dated this 23rd day of April, 1932.
