FORESTERS’ LODGE

(JUDINARY MEETING. The-fortnightly meeting of the Foresters ’ Lodge was held last night, when a large number of members were present, presided over by C.R. Bro. S. J. 0 ’Connor. Two Brothers were declared on the sick fund. An invitation was received from the Church of England Men's bociety inviting the Lodge to attend the Empire Day service to .be held on Sunday next at 7 p.m. Bro. P. Davies, delegate. to the U.F.S.C., reported that arrangements had been made with the Hospital Board that the existing agreement would be carried on for a further ±~ months ending 21st March, 1933. Bro. B. C. Clark reported on the. annual dances of Carterton, Kopuaranga and Mauriceville. Bro. W. L. Sharman reported that the indoor bowling season was now in full swing, and that the indications pointed to a very successful season. Accounts amounting to £25/1(5/8 were passed for payment. At the conclusion of Lodge business the members had a very enjoyable g_me or bowls. >'
