—♦ IT ORTH WAIRARAPA MEETING-.

The annual sports gathering of the ! North Wairarapa Primary Schools’ As sedation was continued on the Alas terton Park Oval yesterday afternoon Capably organised and controlled by the staffs of the various schools, the gathering was most successful and the lengthy programme was completed without a hitch. For the third year in succession, premiership honours went to the Alastertou West School, whose representatives put up a particularly tine performance to gain a total of 143 points. Alasterton Central were runners-up, with 128 points, and Lansdowne, with Go points, were third. A feature of the meeting was the performance of the Alaurieeville West School representatives, who though only three in number scored a total of 36 points. Points scored by the other schools were as follow: Solway, 43; To Ore Ore, 20: vSt. Patrick's, 16; Fernridge, 'S. Aluch of the success of the gathering was due to the excellent work of the very capable secretary of the association, Air F. Jones. Thanks are also due to Alisses Parsonson and Armstrong for the efficient manner in which they recorded the long list of results.
