MELBOURNE, This Day

At the end of the first two stages of tho King’s Prize Match, J. A. Wohlers, of Wangaratta, and H. J. Bye (University) lead, with 195 points each, followed by P. A. Pavey, of Caulfield, G. Robinson, of Geelong, F. R. Birchmall, of Bendigo, G. E. Ellis, of Collingwood, and W. E. Johnston, of Melbourne, each with 193 points.

A strong, cold wind, after a stormy night, interfered with the shooting in tho early hours of the day. Tho same storm did much over-night damage in the country. Five and ahalf inches of rain fell in one hour at Tawonga.
