Although the third round in the men’s singles of the NeAV Zealand tennis championships is being played today there has so far been no unexpected" defeat, and all leading players remain in. The same may be said of the Avomen’s singles, in which the NeAV South Wales visitors arc prominent. In tiie top half of the men’s draw Stedman (Auckland), Barnett (Canterbury), Wilson (Wellington) have reached the fourth round, in Avliich they Avill probably be joined by Bartleet (Auckland), Laurenson (Waikato), France Brothers (Wellington) and either Aligns (Canterbury) or Sturt (Auckland).
