RED REVOLUTION FAILS MANY ARRESTS MADE. Press Assji/JiiLn Electric Telegraph—Copyright MADRID, Tuesday. The Red revolution scheduled for yesterday was a failure, though theie were outbreaks in several small towns and many consequent arrests. Owing to tbe authorities’ determination to suppress demonstrations, anarchists cancelled the country-wide outbreak at Seville, where trams and taxis are idle.
The precautions include machineguns in the streets, and aeioplanes circling overhead. Communists attacked the Barcelona University, but the students effectively repelled them. The Under-Secretary of the Interior announces that calm prevails. The Goaernment is continuing the precautions to-niorrOAV.

It is believed that they Avill leaA'e the country quietly. Educationists are Avondering how to replace eminent teachers, Avho Avere specialising in mathematics, physics, and philosophy.
