PONATAHI SPORTS
The very popular Ahiaruhe-Ponatahi annual sports gathering is to be held on the Carterton Showgrounds on Saturday, 20th. February. Townspeople look forward eagerly for this event, providing, as it does, a great display of horsemanship and variety of horse events.
In addition to horse events there is a full afternoon’s programme of Fire Brigade events, flat races for children, baby show, sheaf tossing, guessing competitions, side shows, etc. A full programme of interesting events. Programmes may be had free on application to P.O. Box 25, Carterton.
