JOHNSONVTLLE SALE.

Live stock values showed a decline at Johnsonville sale yesterday. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., offered an average yarding of all classes of stock. The supply of cattle was in excess of the demand and a dull sale resulted, prices showing a decline of 10/- per head as compared with last week’s ratesli. In sympathy with the reduction in export limits, sheep and lambs were easier, wethers being down 6d per head, ewes 6d to 1/-, while lambs were slightly easier.

Cattle. —Prime heavy bullocks, £B, £7 18/- £7/17/6, £7/15/-. Medium bullocks, £7/10/-. £7/5/-, £7/2/6, £7, £6 17/6, to £6/2/6. PAHIATUA SALE. Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Ltd., report having offered a good yarding of over 1000 lambs at theii Pahiatua sale yesterday (Tuesday). There was a good attendance of the public, buyers from the Manawatu and local districts being present. A good clearance was' effected and recent market values were well maintained. Prices were as follows: —72 extra good b.f. lambs S/7; 7S good b.f. lambs 7/6; 13 do. 6/7; 81 extra good S.H. w. lambs 7/6; 53 w.w. lambs 6/6; 64 do. 5/10; 49 do. 6/2; 124 do. 5/- 82 medium w. lambs 4/8; 13 do. 4/6; 22 do. 3/7; 26 do. 3/5; 30 do. 3/9 31 do. 3/7 14 small ewe lambs 4/6.
