He hopes to reach Darwin in three days ami Sydney in five. C. V. Allen and R. N. Bolton, pilot and co-pilot respectively of the Australia-England air mail which came to grief on November 26, Avill accompany him. Bolton has remained at Alorstar since December.

Smith stated he hoped that the Australian Government Avould grant the National Airways a subsidy so that it could operate a route from Australia to India.
