DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS. SECTION PLAY CONCLUDED. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Sectional play in the Dominion Bowlig Association’s pairs championship was concluded to-day. Twenty-eight players emerged as winners of their sections, but as most of them had to play off after tieing with one or more of their rivals on five rounds of sectional play, in only three cases were section winners able to play the matches that should have decided the winners of each green. Fourteen ultimate green winners will take part in sectional play, on the sudden deatli principle, next week. The section winners were;—Buist, Martin, Claughton, Tyrrell, Currie, Shaw, Gardiner, Worsley, Hardley, Deare, Lomash, Shannon, Haworth, Hutchison, Forster, * Hunt, Wilson, Sinclair, Coull, Harkness, Lcac-h, Ramsay, MeWhannell, Johnson, Jack. In the play-off for the green winners, the resultsh were:—Section A: Buist, 25; Ferguson, 12. Section II: Hutchison, 23; Mayer, 16. Section L: Leach 21, Hampton, 19.
