SHAW’S NEW PLAY.
After George Bernard Shaw returned from Russia last summer, he decided to re-write the last act of his new play, the present title of which, “Too True to be Good,” is likely to be altered. It is now practically finished, and he has agreed to Sir Barry Jackson’s suggestion that the first production should take place at the Malvern Festival next August. “C.B.S. ” will reperesent 3932 in another survey of English drama, but the other plays have not yet been definitely settled.
Latest London advices state that Jack Buchanan, the popular English stage and film star, is not going to Hollywood, but has signed up at more than £IOOO a week to play lead in a series of pictures to' be produced by a company at Elstreo.
