“DEVIL TO PAY.”

Frederick Lonsdale, the famous English dramatist, is accustomed to working on play manuscript, wherever he is, whether in his lovely English home, superintending the production of a play in London or New York, or commuting between those cities and Hollywood. Thus, the script for Ronald Oolman’s latest picture “The Devil to Pay,” coming to the Regent Theatre next Wednesday, was written in all three places. Evelyn Lave brought the first installment from England, Ronald Colman the second from New York, and the author himself completed and delivered the final portion to Samuel Goldwyn in Hollywood.
