Further rain this morning made it impossible to play the concluding games in the tennis mtach between the New South Wales ladies’ team and a South Island team. The visitors left this afternoon for Dunedin. (P.A.) JAPANESE IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, Thursday. The Japanese tennis players who are to tour Australia have arrived ta Sydney. The team consists of T. Harada, R. Nunoi and J. Satoh, who were cordially welcomed by Australian tennis officials, the Japanese Consul and a group'pleading Japanese citizen.s Mr Harada, interviewed, said Japan uould have an excellent chance of capturing the Davis Cup in five years’ time, as there were four 20-year-old players in f Japan whom he described as world—namely, Ito, Yamagishui, Fuzikura and Hawy.
