DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Sectional play in the pairs event of the New Zealand Bowling Association’s annual championship tournament was commenced to-day. Three rounds of section play were competed, but a further two rounds will be required to-day before the winners of the separate sections are ascertained. Players and spectators were again favoured by tine weather, but a strong easterlv wind made conditions more than a" little trick on those greens playing north and south. The greens played faster than on either of the previous days, and again gavoi'playcrs a perfect surface. —(P.A.)
