EX-SOLDIER PREFERENCE. CHECKING COMMUNISM. (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) Day. The Minister for Home Affairs, Mr. R. A. Parkhill, stated that the new Government would give full preference in employment to returned soldiers and that the first step taken by the Government in its antbCbmumnist policy would be re-issue of the proclamation prohibiting the import of all literature advocating overthrow by force of any constitutional Government.
