SATURDAY’S FIXTURES. Following- are the senior and junior fixtures for the Wairarapa Cricket Association’s competition matches, to be played on Saturday:— Senior. —United v. Carterton, at Car'terton; Old Boys v. Featherston, at High School; High School, a bye. The Featherston-Old Boys match will be played at the High School .as the Featherston ground is not ready. Junior.—Oddfellows v. Old Boys, at Park Oval, No. 1; Bed Star A v. Red Star B, at Park Oval, No. 2; United v. Greytown, at Greytown. Following is the position of the senior teams at the completion of the first round: —High School, 9 points; United, 7; Carterton, 5; Old Boys, 3; Featherston, 0.
The following team was chosen to represent Auckland in the intermediate junior championships to be held at Wellington on January 22 and 23:—N. 'Crump, Misses N. Ludlow, J. Webster (intermediates) and Miss E. Rainey and C. Walters (juniors).—(P.A.).
