LONDON SALES SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT. Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from London, dated 12th January, 1932: “The auctions opened here to-day with a large attendance of buyers. Competition is keen, particularly from Home trade and Germany. “Compared with closing rates of last series, prices on an average were firm with fine half bred 56. s quality id per lb. higher, and all other descriptions firm, if anything in favour of sellers. ”
