BEQUESTS

MASTERTON INSTITUTIONS BENEFIT. ESTATE OF LATE MR. WRAGGLAND. Under the will of the late Mr. G. A. Wraggland, also known as George Manson, of Marton, probate whereof was granted to the Public Trustee on 16th. ultimo, provision is made for the undermentioned charitable and public bequests to Masterton institutions:- - The residue of the estate is to be divided into 5 equal parts, one of which is bequeathed to each of the following; Public Hospital, Plunket Society, Masterton Borough Council, for the purpose of maintaining and improving the Masterton Public Park; primary school, Matahiwi; Salvation Army for general 2>urposes of the Army at Marton. Bequests have also been made to a number of Marton institutions. It is estimated that the total value of the above bequests will aproximate £2,000. The late Mr. Wraggland was at one time a resident of the district.
