First whey, 94s (925); second, 90s (90s). Deliveries New Zealand, 2139 tons —last- year, 1471 tons. In store, New Zealand, 3565 tons—last year, 2336 tons. Australian salted, 99s to 102 s (96s to 995); unsalted, IOSs to 110 s ex. 112 s (108 s to 110 s). Deliveries Australian 2450 tons—last year, 1625 tons. Argentine, unsalted, 98s to 100 s to 102 s (98s to 102 s). Market slightly firmer owing to strike conditions. Danish, 117 s f.0.b., 126 s to 128 s spot (128 s, 135 sto 1365). Market weaker. Dutch unsalted, 114 s t 0,1165. New Zealand retail price, Is Id; Danish, Is 4d.

Cheese: New Zealand white, 5Ss to 59s (56s to 58s) —last year, 58s to 60s; coloured, 56s to 57s to 58s (54s to 565) —last year, 57s to 595. 56s to 59s equals approximately 5-Jd f.o.b. Deliveries, New Zealand, 27,614 crates —last year, 18,000 -crates. In store, New Zealand, 26,000 crates —-last, year, 66,500 crates. Australian, white, 56s to 5Ss 54s to 555); coloured, 54s to 56s (53s to 545). Market slightly firmer owing to strike conditions. New Zealand retail price unchanged, Sd. Canadian, white, 68s to 70s (66s to 70s); coloured, 67s to 70s (60s to 70s). Deliveries, Canadian, 16,500 boxes —last year 14,500 -crates. In store, Canadian, 172,000 boxes —last year, 203,241 crates. Alarkct steady. English finest farmers, 100 s to IOSs (100 s).

Discharge of Port Hunter, Rualiine, and Coptic delayed owing to lightermen’s strike. Still unsettled. Rualiine ano Coptic now discharging at docks. Every precaution taken to protect goods.

The board has also received the following advice from its agents in Canada: Butter, New York, 26 cents, Montreal, 2-] cents.
